The Laboratory Animal Research Workshop, held between 03 December 2025 and 28 January 2026, has been successfully completed following strong interest and active participation from researchers across multiple disciplines.
This intensive 8-week programme provided participants with a comprehensive foundation in mouse biology, animal welfare, the 3Rs principles, and responsible handling practices.
Combining theoretical lectures with hands-on training, the workshop aimed to strengthen both technical competencies and ethical awareness in laboratory animal research.
Organized within the BIOTIN MSCA COFUND Doctoral Programme and delivered in collaboration with the IZTECH Laboratory Animal Production, Care, Application and Research Center, the training reflects BIOTIN’s commitment to advancing high-quality, ethically grounded biomedical research.
Beyond technical skill development, the programme fostered a deeper understanding of the responsibility that underpins scientific discovery, emphasizing that ethical considerations must guide every stage of research.
BIOTIN extends its sincere thanks to all participating researchers, instructors, and contributors for their engagement and dedication throughout the programme.
