11 Eyl 2025

As part of the BIOTIN İzmir Event, the Innovations and Entrepreneurship Training took place at Teknopark İzmir on September 11-12, providing fellows with a comprehensive overview of entrepreneurial thinking and innovation management in biotechnology.

Throughout the day, participants attended a series of interactive lectures and workshops delivered by experts from Teknopark İzmir:

  • Burak Köle conducted sessions on Business Model Canvas and Effective Presentation Skills, helping participants structure and communicate their business ideas clearly and convincingly.

  • Miray Karakuzu delivered trainings on Basic IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) and Patent Search, providing practical insights into intellectual property protection and innovation strategy.

  • İrem Demir led courses on How to Finance My Business Idea and Understanding and Applying Innovation, guiding participants through the fundamentals of startup funding and innovation processes.

The program offered fellows essential entrepreneurial tools to translate their scientific projects into viable business opportunities, bridging the gap between research, innovation, and commercialization.
