BiotinTeam

12 Eyl 2025

The final day of the BIOTIN İzmir Event was dedicated to the Citizen Science Event, held at İzmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH) on September 12. Organized in collaboration with İzmir Özel Türk Koleji Science High School, with additional contributions from the school's Biology Department, this session aimed to inspire young minds by bringing together high school students interested in science with BIOTIN fellows conducting advanced research in biotechnology.

During the event, fellows Leyla Ibrahimli, Rafia Gul, Abdul Etibaroghlu, and Osama Ejaz delivered engaging presentations introducing their research topics, innovative projects, and scientific approaches. The sessions not only provided theoretical insights but also included hands-on demonstrations and simple experimental activities, allowing participants to explore how scientific principles are applied in practice.

Through this interactive format, the event successfully encouraged students to pursue scientific inquiry, promoted public engagement in science, and strengthened the bridge between researchers and the broader community.
