We successfully completed the BIOTIN Science Communication Course I: Leadership Workshop – Leadership Theories and Styles, delivered by Ajlan Someren, in collaboration with the IZTECH General Culture Department and the MAN 211 Communication and Management Skills for Engineers course.
This interactive workshop introduced core leadership theories and styles tailored for scientists and early-career researchers aiming to become future innovators and entrepreneurs, while also providing a dynamic learning environment through quizzes, a personal risk-profile assessment, and group discussions.
Participants had the opportunity to reflect on their own leadership approaches and strengthen the competencies needed to navigate multidisciplinary research and innovation settings.
We extend our sincere thanks to the lecturer and all attendees for contributing to this insightful session, and we look forward to offering more BIOTIN workshops and training activities in the near future.
