BiotinTeam

9 Eyl 2025

The second day of the BIOTIN İzmir Event, held on September 9th at İzmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH), provided participants with the opportunity to explore the Integrated Research Center (IRC) — one of Turkey’s most advanced interdisciplinary research hubs.

Throughout the day, fellows and participants were introduced to IZTECH’s extensive research infrastructure, including laboratories dedicated to materials science, biotechnology, and advanced engineering. The visit encompassed key facilities such as the Biotechnology and Bioengineering Application and Research Center (BIOMER), the Materials Research Center (MAM), and the Center for Life Sciences and Health Technologies (HUGOM), each offering state-of-the-art instrumentation and expertise that bridge fundamental and applied research.

The sessions emphasized the integration of multidisciplinary approaches in modern science and inspired participants to envision new collaborative opportunities within their own research fields.
